These models are for veritcal regulators, or foregrip expansion chambers. Most of these models use tyical 1/2-NPS tank threads which was at one point the standard connection for vertical regs, but has since been left behind by many manufacturers.

The difference between the older v1 and newer v2 lies with the design of the piston and surrounding reg body middle section. The overall design remained mostly unchanged and the o-rings are the same for both.

This assembly file includes the internal springs, but obviously they aren't accurate depending on the regulator's state.
Updated September 2014 to reflect the two-piece poppet with an o-ring imbedded in the middle.
