This page lists files that work with all 2003+ Shockers. This includes all SFT parts as well as parts for the Shocker NXT that are backwards compatible with the Shocker SFT. In other words, all Shocker parts compatible with both SFT and NXT are listed here.
Part: SFT base model body
Created by: Ydna
Description: Functional model for a Shocker SFT base model body. No threads are modeled.
1. Measurements for the bottom holes were backwards-engineered using precision gauge pins. Due to possible wear on the hole diameters combined with tolerance stacking, I will qualify these measurements to be within +- 0.003". This should be plenty close enough for any machining.
2. Diameters and profile for the 16-tpi "Shocker" barrel threading are from Smart Parts published specifications. However, diameters and profile for the 12-tpi "Impulse/Ion/NXT" barrel threading are not published, instead have been reverse-engineered.
3. The diameter of all threaded holes in this CAD model are simply arbitrary; actual diameters will vary from marker to marker, due to thread tolerances.
4. Comsetic cuts are reasonably accurate, but are still mostly just asthetic. Do not use the cosmetics for precision activities such as 3d engraving because they aren't that accurate.
5. (applies to SFT only) The small, oval-shaped pocket cut for the eye ribbon has changed over the years. Originally, there was no ovular cut for the eye element to sit. The cut was added in 2006 to help bring the reflective eye element closer to the ball.
6. The shape of the eye cover cut into the body never changed, and is the same cut as made in SFT and NXT bodies. However, Shocker NXT eye covers are meant to fit tighter to the body because they are milled at once. Shocker SFT eye covers will have a more loose fit.
7. I didn't waste time modeling the Shocker symbol cuts that are made into the SFT and NXT bodies. These cuts are 3d-contoured and too difficult to measure.

Part: NXT body modded for ultralite milling
Created by: Ydna
Description: 3D model used for "ultralite" milling on both SFT and NXT bodies. This is based on the Shocker NXT body CAD file but this file can be used for both SFT and NXT. The only difference between them is:
1. Vertical adapter screw holes are further forward on this body which is of the NXT.
2. This NXT body sticks out longer to the front above the vertical adapter
3. The SFT body has longer material around its barrel threads (SFT threads are longer than NXT threads). This model actually depicts the SFT barrel threads but this model can be used for both SFT and NXT.

Part: Nummech Shocker Pie frame v8.5
Formats:

Created by: Ydna via Nummech Products
Description: Published CAD model for Nummech's Shocker aftermarket Pie frame (version 8.5, which is the current production version). This frame is compatible with Shocker/Nerve grips, lower boards, powerswitch actuator, most triggers, and fits both SFT and NXT bodies. The frame is also compatible with an Etek LT board, with a slightly modified rear spine that has holes for the buttons and LEDs (note, the Etek rear modifications are not included in this model)
Note: Some secondary support components are missing from this model; specifically for the trigger stop, frame-to-body screw platforms, and lower grip panel anchor component. These small parts aren't required when viewing the marker externaly, so don't worry about them.
