This modification involves the disassembly of the microswitch and manually adjusting it so it will return with less force. Stock microswitches are Omron part number D2F-FL, which repel with a force of 25 grams (very light), so any modification you make as per this guide will lessen it even further. I will make the disclaimer that, the reason why the switches are factory set to repel with 25-g is becuase this will allow for several million switch returns before the tensioner becomes worn out. At that point, the switch will no longer return. Yes, the switch will wear out eventually. Performing this modification will lessen the life of your switch, if it matters to you. The manufacturer also chose this weight becuase they believe it to be the lightest return force given the majority of situations. If they believed the same switch would work just as good with a lesser force, then they would have made it.
However needless to say, this may appear to be a somewhat complex mod to perform. The mod itself is very easy, it's just the disassembly and reassembly that take up your time. Please read through the enture guide at least once before proceeding.
