Here's something you won't see again...an LED mounted in the tip of the bolt guide. It shines down into the chamber through the ports in the front of the bolt.
All the wiring was internal and none of it is easily visible from the outside (although if you look close you can see the wiring in through the back of the body). This LED was wired directly to the voltage supply on the board, so it was on continuously.
This doesn't serve any purpose at all, and isn't even visible from the outside of the gun, but I suppose if you really wanted a practical use then you could use it to energize a glow-in-the-dark hopper's worth of paint....
The special milling of the SL body also allowed for this unique LED mod to be installed. This new LED was wired to the stock LED transistor, so it blinked when the stock LED blinked. With the flip of a small switch inside the frame, the LED would turn solid, since it was also wired directly to the power supply on the board.
