These older pVI solenoids can be difficult to work with since they're so old, andsince finding replacement parts is tricky. Specifically, the gaskets that seal the solenoids to the body are particulary obscure. I needed to get a hold of some to repair my gun, so I just made my own aluminum mount, fitted with o-rings, to seal the solenoids to the body.
On this other gun, I decided to spend a little more time on the solenoid mounts. In this situation I didn't even have any solenoids to put in the gun, so I purchased a pair of Parker K4H01's (Shocker, Impulse, Bushmaster, Tribal, etc) and machined a unique right-angle mount for them. The mount used the same footprint as the stock pneutronics solenoids to seal against the body, then branched off to the side to connect to the Parker solenoids. I sealed the exposed ports with set screws. Threading them wasn't fun at all (in fact I broke one while doing so) but it all worked in the end.
